Martin Cawley

Martin joined Perspective following the acquisition of Devonshire Wealth Management to focus fully on his clients, choosing to step away from the increasing regulatory pressures faced by small businesses.

This move has allowed him to dedicate more of his time to what he values most: delivering high‑quality, personalised financial advice.

With more than 25 years of experience running a bespoke wealth management business, Martin brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep understanding of the financial needs of individuals approaching or entering retirement. His extensive background enables him to guide clients with confidence and clarity through some of the most important financial decisions of their lives.

Martin holds the DipPFS qualification and specialises in helping clients define and achieve their retirement objectives. His work focuses on understanding each client’s unique circumstances and creating tailored strategies that support long‑term financial wellbeing.

One of the most rewarding aspects of Martin’s role is providing clients with reassurance – particularly when he can demonstrate, through detailed cashflow planning, that their retirement ambitions are both achievable and sustainable. He values the ability to help clients visualise their financial future and gain the confidence to enjoy retirement in the way they envisioned.

Outside of work, Martin is a passionate sports enthusiast. He is a season ticket holder at Nottingham Forest FC, a proud member of the MCC at Lord’s Cricket Ground and takes part in a shooting syndicate during the autumn months. He also enjoys travelling.
