Mark Taylor Headshot

Mark is a Director of Perspective (South East). He has over 30 years financial planning under his belt. He previously worked for Platinum Portfolios Ltd when the company was acquired by Perspective. Being part of a National IFA has advantages both for clients and staff and he enjoys being part of a larger team with greater resources and support.

He is a member of Perspective’s Advisory Board and specialises in advising High Net Worth families and companies. The most enjoyable part of his role is helping people achieve what is important to them in their lives. 

Mark is one of a relatively small number of financial planners the UK with both Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Financial Planner status. Mark also holds the STEP Certificate for Financial Services – Trusts and Estate Planning qualification. He is always on the look-out for further qualifications that will improve his skills and knowledge. 

Mark is a past winner of the Money Management Financial Planner of the Year award and has served on the board of the Institute of Financial Planning (now part of the CISI) with responsibility for the professional development of financial planners. As well as making contributions to the Financial Times Money Makeover series, he has been a regular commentator on financial topics both to the public and within the profession. 

Apart from spending quality time with family and friends, Mark enjoys most sports (particularly tennis and golf), travel, learning and new experiences.
