Ailsa joined Perspective on 25th October 2024, following Perspective’s acquisition of Springfield Financial Services.
Ailsa has worked in the Financial Services industry since 2000, bringing over two decades of experience supporting clients with their financial planning needs.
Ailsa is a Chartered Financial Advisor and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society (FPFS). She also holds the STEP Certificate for Financial Services – Trusts and Estate Planning. In addition, Ailsa is accredited by SOLLA (Society of Later Life Advisers), holding both the Later Life Adviser Accreditation and the Retirement Standard.
Her specialist focus is on retirement and later life planning, helping clients make informed decisions at key stages of their lives.
Ailsa places great importance on getting to know her clients and helping them clearly understand their financial position. She enjoys working with family groups and seeing the long‑term benefits of effective financial planning passed through the generations.
What Ailsa finds most rewarding is turning disorganised or overwhelming finances into a clear, well‑structured and manageable plan, giving clients confidence and peace of mind about their financial future.
With my husband and two young sons (often at the side of a football pitch). Camping and hiking in the local countryside with family and friends. Reading and doing a good jigsaw!
I won the Personal Finance Society (PFS) Retirement & Later Life Advice Specialist of the Year award in November 2022.
I would love to explore South America.
