Vision and Values

Our six values

Values
We are

Client-centric

The client must always be at the centre of our thoughts, they come first and we come second, the starting point being by asking ourselves “would we be happy to provide this level of service and recommendation to our family members?”.

The answer to which is a resounding YES.

Clients should never have to chase us, we should always be on the front foot. Our clients should have the best possible experience when working with us. Without our clients we don’t have a business, therefore our clients should not be just content with our service, they should be delighted by it and happy to share it with their family, friends and colleagues.

We will

Do the right thing

Doing the right thing is of course required by our regulator, but it is also core to our values in everything we do.

By doing the right thing, we will always remain client-centric, which in turn leads to happy clients.

Doing the right thing protects the long-term future of our business.

We always

Deliver

We employ tenacity with a can-do attitude. We set expectations and are realistic with our colleagues and clients and have created a flexible working environment to ensure that we can attract and retain the best talent in the Industry.

We approach work with a positive attitude and being a client-centric company, we need to ensure that we never over promise.

We need to make things happen – delivering does not happen by accident, delivery is our responsibility regardless of obstacles or difficulties.

We become

A trusted member of the family

We are often seen as a trusted member of our clients’ family, and this remains at the core of our strategy.

Many of our relationships span multiple generations and the average length of our client relationships is a quarter of a century.

We continually

Set standards of excellence

From administration to delivering Financial Plans we want to be the best, but it is not enough to just say it, we must be able to demonstrate it and regularly benchmark ourselves against both industry standards and internal results, as our ethos dictates that we strive for continuous improvement.

Our Training Academy and recruitment programme assist in creating some of the finest talent in the industry. Experience and qualifications are key to our continued success and Chartered Status is the minimum goal our advisors strive to achieve, with many progressing to become Fellows of the Chartered Institute.

We believe in

Teamwork

The statement, “there is no I in team”, is relevant in all walks of life, but none more so than Financial Planning. Administration, Paraplanning, Advising, Finance, Regulation, and our People Dept. all work together to ensure clients receive the best possible experience and are at the centre of what we do. We operate a flat structure, across our offices, rather than having a Head Office that issues instructions.

We need to continuously operate as a team otherwise we stop being effective.

Our Attributes

We are proud of what we do and the specialist service our offices provide for clients. Our attributes define exactly what makes us unique – they collectively represent all offices of Perspective, our processes, people and services.
